Province of Alberta Releases New Library Regulations

EDMONTON, AB – Today, the Province of Alberta released new library regulations to guide the implementation of Bill 28, which was passed in May.

As a community, the Coalition of Alberta Public Libraries is taking time to review and understand the implications of these new regulations and identify any concerns or challenges. In the meantime, libraries will continue to operate as they are, and we thank Albertans for their ongoing support.
